Tom and Muriel Craft are the owners of Joshua Grading and Excavating, Inc., and parent company to Joshua Contracting Company (JCC). Joshua Grading & Excavating, Inc. has successfully operated as a small business in Phelan since 1998, and employs approximately thirty employees. We are licensed through the California State License Board as an “A” classification General Engineering Contractor, License Number 827602. Our main office is located in the unincorporated area of Phelan, California.

Currently Joshua Grading & Excavating, Inc. is working on house demos, basement cuts, grading for building pads, and trenching jobs in the Los Angeles, San Bernardino, and Riverside County areas.

Joshua works closely with the Orange County Transportation Authority, doing right-of-way property maintenance. Our work in Orange County includes property clearing, mowing, and weed, debris, and graffiti abatement. In early 2016 we were also awarded the right-of-way maintenance contract for San Bernardino County Transportation Authority, and in early 2017 we were awarded the right-of-way maintenance contract for Riverside County Transportation Commission.

As a company, we specialize in weed abatement, mowing, discing, grading, excavating, and rail and property maintenance. We also have a proactive maintenance program and a full time mechanic maintaining all equipment. Joshua has a history of working closely with different city and county agencies, maintaining government owned or maintained property. Our company is in solid financial standing. Joshua plans to continue to grow in a conservative manner and maintain our high standards of quality control and safety. Using this approach while utilizing cost effective methods, will enable us to maintain our ability to deliver the services expected, and continue to provide our community with an honest, and innovative business.
